I lost my partner of 37 years a year ago so it's a whole new ball game getting into the social scene, once again.  I dated for a while but nothing clicked so I think, for the moment, I'd rather make friends, instead.  Who knows, friendship may just develop into more.

I love a good glass of wine and a good book, together.  I also like good conversations that challenge the mind.  Of course, I adore people with a wicked sense of humor, who can play with words.  What I don't like are whiners and negative people whose sole purpose is to make everyone else as miserable as they are.  Malicious gossip is a total turn off for me.  If I don't know the person, I don't want to hear dirt about them.  Other than that, I'm pretty simple and straight forward.

Reading is my first love, then I'm an accomplished tailor of 50+ years.  95% of the clothes I wear I've made myself.  I'm also an amateur perfume maker and have a couple of my men's fragrances at a friend's men's shaving store.  My latest hobby is photography.
